My first of many and hopefully not the most entertaining. There’s not a lot to InstantIdiocy as of yet but we’re working on that. Things may not be under way before the kid in the video below finishes the Rubik’s cube, but eventually =).

What do I see in this site’s future? Hmm. Hopefully lots of things of interest. We’ll have movie reviews from our friends over at iTalkFilm. We’ll feature what is actually newsworthy and important, as well as whatever we want =). If you notice the name of the site, you should expect things to be a bit lighthearted here. I mean, who wants to be serious all the time?

Here’s my report for the day.

Have you seen How I Met Your Mother? Starring Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan and narrated by Bob Saget. The story is being told by the main character Ted (Radnor) but as older-Ted ( Saget), to his two children. As you can tell by the name of the title, it’s about how he met their mother. Considering this is in the 4th season, they’re in for a long story.

The quick breakdown of the show: Ted (Radnor) is the unlucky-in-love hopeless romantic. Well, he’s not totally unlucky, he gets more action than I do! Er.. *cough* anyway. He’s constantly driven to achieve with the women by his “best friend” Barney (N.P.H.), sometimes with unexpected (or expected?) results. Then there’s their two friends Marshall (Segel) and Lily (Hannigan). First loves, together for 10 years before getting married and the make-you-want-to-puke cute couple. They’re funny though . Then there’s Robin (Smulders). Ted’s off and on thing from early on. They have an.. interesting.. relationship.

The show is hilarious and I find myself identifying with most of the main characters, sometimes a little too much haha. I’m on season 3 right now, I recommend you watch it.

Which reminds me. Dr Horrible. Some more great Neil Patrick Harris.

It’s only 45 minutes long but it’s well worth the watch. You can view it in it’s entirety at DrHorrible.com. I can’t even remember how many times I’ve seen it now haha. I even have the soundtrack on my cellphone =).

And not to be left out, R.I.P Paul Newman. He had a long productive life and produced great salad dressing.
