Quotes:

What happens when the numbers run out?
Why? Because people see what they want to see.

A young girl named Lucinda Embry “Lara Robinson”, is in grade school during the 1950′s, she is haunted by the constant sound of whispers in her head. When one day her teacher mentions the new class project. She has bough a time capsule, her plan is for every child in the class to draw a picture of what they believe the future will be like and place it inside. The capsule will be buried in front of the school and opened in 50 years for future students to see. All the students draw pictures of futuristic scenes, spaceships, rockets and even robots. Not Lucinda Embry, still haunted by voices now more then ever. The teacher approaches her to see what young Lucinda has drawn. Yet is just a completely full piece of paper of numbers written frantically line by line. Disgusted by what Lucinda has done, she grabs the paper before she is able to finish the last couple of numbers on the bottom of the page.

In the future 2009, it comes time to open the time capsule and the students of the school are ready to see what time left behind. A student at the school Caleb Koestler is the lucky one that receives Lucinda’s letter. Totally confused about what he has been given he takes it home wondering what it could mean. His father John Koestler “Nicolas Cage”, finds the letter and thinks its utter nonsense at first. One night when John cannot seem to fall asleep starts to notice something strange about the letter. He notices a mathematical pattern that is absolutely amazing, it is a record of every disaster that has happed since 1950. It is a recording of the date and the number of people to die in each accident. Only three dates remain on the list and its up to John if he wants to try to prevent these disasters from happening, if he can.

Knowing is an interesting science fiction feature , it has plenty of suspense, intrigue and good plot. Predicting the future is something everyone would like to do at one time or another. In this film that take it too a new level, bringing horrible tragedies that could be prevented all at the hands of one man. Bring about one of the most interesting questions is everything that happens predestined or just completely random in this universe. Its hard to say, I like to think this whole universe is the biggest coindence ever to happen, but in my gut I know this is almost completely impossible. Hard for anyone to fathom the reason on why things happen the way they do . The film actually has a strange ending that I thought was not needed at all and probably should have been cut out all together. Although, its hard to say what audiences will think of it. I wish I could talk about it more, but it will spoil the film. If you like science fiction give this movie a go, and enjoy a good time with plenty of special effects. I do not think it will be too popular with audiences, but it would not be the first time I have been wrong.

Quotes:

He had a bush like a 40 year old Serbian.
This is a man cave no girl has ever been in here.

I Love You, Man is the latest comedy to hit the theaters starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segal and I cannot help but to tell you this movie is downright hilarious. It has a constant witty banter that does just not stop, from slapstick to strange situations that will keep you laughing constantly. Paul Rudd “Peter Klaven”, has been dating the same girl for quite sometime and has finally decided to settle down with his girlfriend Zooey “Rashida Jones”. Peter is an average real estate agent living in California that has realized that over time dating all these years, he has not really paid much attention into keeping friends in his life. Always spending all his energy at work or with whoever he has been dating. Now stuck in the predicament of finding some regular friends to pal around with, ut also someone to take the role of being his best man at his wedding. Everyone in his life can see this as a problem so clearly except Peter. While sitting down at his families house having dinner, he brings up the fact that he has proposed and is getting married. His father and brother suggest that he needs to start going out on “Man Dates” to finally build that needed bond and group of male friends that he needs. His brother Robbie “Andy Samberg”, tries to help him out at first to find someone he can hangout with, suggesting people that he meets at the gym he works at. Each man date just gets funnier as it goes along, although no one seems to click with Peter. Until one day at an open house he is throwing to sell his top listing, he meets Sydney Fife “Jason Segal” they connect almost instantly. Sydney is not even interested in buying a house he just goes to high price listings to eat the food and pick up divorced older women. They talk for sometime exchange cards and go separate ways. Peter realizes that just could be the friend he is looking for and makes it a priority to hang out with him. Hanging out to the point that it starts to cause his fiancĂ© to get jealous of the whole situation between the two of them.

A comedy that will surely be a block buster that all people will enjoy. Watching Paul Rudd and Jason Segal hanging out is just fun to watch. The interaction between the two of them is just perfect. Showing the difference between how friendships with guys and gals is just totally different, almost in every way. It will leaving you laughing with the absurdity that happens throughout the entire film. It does have its perverted and sick jokes that most guys keep to themselves but it just ads to the films humor. A must see and movie worth buying on video to add to your collection. I am willing to go see this movie again with anyone that wants to go, cause it just that funny. If you miss this film you are going to regret it .

Quotes:

A small family decides to take a trip out to their secluded lake house in Collingwood. On the first day of their family trip, the daughter of the family Mari “Sara Paxton”, Decides to go hang out with her friend in town at the local general store. Sara asks her parents “Monica Potter” and “Tony Goldwyn” to borrow the car to go into town. Reluctantly her mother agrees, and tells her not to stay out to late.

While hanging out in town at her friend Paige’s “Martha MacIsaac” work, a young teenage boy named Justin, walks into the store. He asks Sarah’s friend to sell him a pack of smokes. Paige says, “If you have an idea I can help you.” He replies, “If you help me now, you can come over to my place and I will help you out later.” They decide to trust Justin, and go have some fun over at his place. When they get to his place, its a rented motel room. They start to hangout to together, and party a little with Justin, having a good time. After some time goes by, a car pulls up and in walks Justin’s father and his friends. Justin immediately apologizes and tells the girls they he had no idea they would be home so soon. Justin’s father starts to get angry with him and tells him he will not be able to let his new friends leave, now that they have seen him. The girls start to panic, but there is not much they can do.

Three adults against two young teenage girls, overpowered, and have to submit to their demands and will. Scared out of their minds, they have no idea what will happen next.

The Last House on the Left is a complete intense thriller. You could even consider it a horror for some of the horriable things that happen to all the characters of the story. I do not think anyone is really saved from violence and trauma in this film at all. No one is safe in this film at all. There is some drug scenes and a violent sex scene for all you parents out there. Not something you really want your young daughter to see on screen, it is quite offensive. Although if you can get past this, it leads to some nonstop action that has you rooting for the good guys to give these criminals what they truly deserve. An in your face , what would you do kind of movie if you were ever put in such a terrible situation. A movie worth seeing if your stomach can handle the violence and the violation.
